Things to Do Near Stone Canyon

The acclaimed Round Rock ISD serves the students of Stone Canyon. Schools include Fern Bluff (K-5), Chisolm Trail (6-8) and Round Rock High School (9-12).

Fern Bluff Elementary School has 559 students in grades PK, K-5 with a student-teacher ratio of 13 to 1. According to state test scores, 71% of students are at least proficient in math and 75% in reading.

Chisholm Trail Middle School has 785 students in grades 6-8 with a student-teacher ratio of 12 to 1. According to state test scores, 62% of students are at least proficient in math and 51% in reading.

Round Rock High School is a public high school located in Round Rock, Texas, a suburb of North Austin. Founded in 1867, it is the oldest high school in the Round Rock Independent School District. As of 2021, it is the largest high school in the Greater Austin area by student enrollment.

Round Rock High School has 3,731 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 16 to 1. According to state test scores, 62% of students are at least proficient in math and 71% in reading.

Round Rock High school has the following career and technical education programs available for students, Automotive Technology, Biomedical Sciences, Business Management, Computer Science, Culinary Arts, Cybersecurity, Drone Aviation, Education and Training, Engineering, Fashion Design, Finance, Game Programming and Design, Graphic Design and Illustration, Health Science Theory and Practice, Law Enforcement and Law and the Legal System.
